Try this Choc Mousse Supercharge Smoothie to incorporate all my favourite superfoods, plus some everyday heros (avocado, nuts)!! This is a great all-round smoothie with protein, healthy fats, antioxidants, fibre, wholefoods etc. etc. that will leave you feeling energised and well-nourished. Approx 28-36g of protein in this delicious shake and over 12 grams of fibre! Start your day with this and you are well on your way to meeting nutritional requirements 🙂 And did I mention it tastes like choc mousse?! No convincing needed!!!
- 1/4 avocado
- 1/4 banana
- 2 tbsp cacao
- 1 serving vegan protein powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds/linseeds
- 1 tbsp psyllium husk
- 1 tsp spirulina
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 tbsp stevia
- 1 cup almond or coconut water unsweetened
- 1/2 cup ice
- Optional 1/2 zucchini and/or handful of fresh spinach
- Blend away! Top with raw nuts and seeds. Enjoy with a spoon.
